"66 Galen in Watertown: Biotech Firms Occupy Over 50% of Leased Space"

The Davis Companies and Boston Development Group (BDG) have signed lease agreements with two life sciences companies, LifeMine Therapeutics and a new undisclosed biotech company (NewCo), at 66 Galen St. in Watertown, MA. These tenants will occupy over half of the building’s available space.

LifeMine Therapeutics, a biopharmaceutical company specializing in Top-Down Drug Discovery, will fully occupy the fourth floor of the purpose-built Class A life science building spanning 56,456 square feet. The NewCo tenant will take up 61,189 square feet on the third floor while remaining anonymous due to being in stealth mode.

According to Jon Needham, Senior Vice President at Davis Companies: “Having both these life sciences firms choose to relocate their operations to our building is a strong testament to its top-notch infrastructure and design.” He believes that these tenants are an ideal fit for this growing campus.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Duncan Gratton , Connor Barnes , and Joe Pearce represented 66 Galen as leasing agents for the landlord while Colliers’ Evan Gallagher and John Carroll acted on behalf of both tenants during negotiations.
