"$5M Historic Office Building in New England Purchased by Haverhill"

Historic New England has acquired a 142,000-square-foot office building in Haverhill, Massachusetts for $4.5 million from a family ownership group. The eight story building is located at 143-147 Essex St and stands on a 1.64 acre lot that was built in 1911 and underwent renovations in 2005. It is currently leased to over 70 tenants including professional offices and self storage units.

The sale of the property was facilitated by Luigi Lessa and Harrison Klein from Marcus & Millichap who had the exclusive listing to market it on behalf of the seller while procuring buyer interest as well.

This acquisition marks Historic New England’s latest investment into commercial real estate with an eye towards expanding their portfolio further throughout 2021 with similar properties across Massachusetts’ North Shore region
