Beny Sofer, a renowned supplier of fine jewelry, has recently secured a 10-year lease for a 7,300-square-foot space at the prestigious location of 535 Fifth Ave in Midtown East. The company will be relocating to this new office and showroom on the building’s 15th floor in the second quarter.
This significant transaction was handled internally by Beny Sofer’s team. The landlord, The Moinian Group, was represented by Omar Sozkesen from their own group and Mitchell Arkin from Cushman & Wakefield.
Over the past year and a half, there has been an increase in leasing activity within the diamond and fine jewelry industry at 535 Fifth Ave. Notable tenants such as International Gemological Institute (IGI), Prima Gems,and Ukrainian Diamond Corp have also signed new leases here. Additionally,Sandeep Diamond Corp.and IDD USA have expanded their presence within this building that boasts full retail occupancy with prominent brands like Best Buy,Läderach,the NBA Store,and Paris Saint Germain.
