$50M Upgrade for Allen Data Center Announced

CyrusOne’s expansive $600 million Allen data center was built in 2017 with growth in mind. Now, the company is ready to make some renovations, including a fit-up of shell space for a new data hall and associated equipment galleries totaling 82,750 square feet. Renovations will also include new additions to the existing service yard and expansion to the metal grate platform. Construction is set to begin in November with estimated costs of $50 million; Corgan has been tasked with designing these updates which are expected for completion by April 2024.

The company operates more than 50 data centers worldwide, two of which are located within Dallas-Fort Worth: Carrollton and Lewisville.
