A new apartment tower in downtown Austin, called the Paseo, has reached its maximum height. The 48-story building is being developed by LV Collective and constructed by JE Dunn Construction. Architects Pappageorge Haymes Partners designed the project.
The Paseo will offer a total of 557 units, ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments. Amenities include a pool, spa, fitness center, private rooftop pool and sky lounge on floor 48 for residents to enjoy. Floors 12-14 will also feature amenity decks with coworking spaces equipped with private work pods and collaborative conference rooms. The ground and second floors of the tower will house retail space featuring various food and beverage options.
Two historic bungalows on site have been preserved and repurposed as restaurant and bar spaces for residents to enjoy. Additionally, there are plans to create a music venue in an open space beneath the main floor of the tower.
Construction began in early 2023 with an expected completion date of late 2025.
