"48 Acres Sold by Walton Global to D.R Horton"

Walton Global has recently completed the sale of Phase I of Ladysmith Village Master Plan, spanning 48.246 acres, to D.R. Horton – the largest homebuilder in the nation. This phase encompasses 152 residential lots located in Caroline County, just north of Richmond, VA. The conceptual plan for this new property includes a mix of single-family and townhome units.

According to Michael Slavotinek, vice president for Mid-Atlantic and Carolinas at Walton Global: “We are closely monitoring Virginia’s growing economy to identify regions where we can offer our support; Caroline County has shown strong potential for growth.”

The other portion of this partially completed Master Plan is known as Ladysmith Village Founder’s Park which features amenities such as a 14,000-square-foot Resident’s Center with an outdoor amphitheater and library along with numerous parks and outdoor spaces for residents’ enjoyment.
