300K-SF Mixed-Use Projects Planned for Broomfield and Loveland

Prism Places and McWhinney have joined forces to develop two mixed-use commercial districts spanning 676,000 square feet across 213 acres in Broomfield and Loveland. According to Commercial Edge, both projects have secured leases with an organic grocer for stores measuring 37,000 square feet each.

The first project is Avenue South, designed by AO and set to break ground in November 2025. This district will cover a total of 364,000 square feet and serve as the business hub for Centerra – a master-planned community spread over 3,000 acres in Loveland. Construction is expected to be completed by March of 2028 and will include not only the organic grocer but also retail space totaling at least128,000 square feet along with restaurants covering another72 ,00squarefeet . Additionally , there will be Class A office space measuring127 ,00squarefeet as well as more than1 ,750 new residential units.

Meanwhile,a second project called Center Street,is planned for Baseline -a master-planned community spanning1 ,100acresinBroomfield.CenterStreetwill encompass approximately3120,squarefeetandserveasthebusinessdistrictforBaseline.PrismPlacesandMcWhinneyareexpectedtobreakgroundonCenterStreetinsSeptemberof2026withcompletionanticipatedbyAugustof2028.Thecenterwillfeatureoffice space,restandretailareas,andanorganicgrocerstore.

Prism Places and McWhinney are collaborating on two separate mixed-use commercial developments that together span over half a million square feet across Broomfield (313 acres)andLoveland(213acres).AccordingtoCommercialEdge,theorganically-themedstoresatbothlocationshavealreadysecuredleases.These establishments measure around37k-square-feeteach.

AO has been tasked with designing Avenue South which is slated for construction commencement sometime during November2015.Thisprojectwillcompriseof364k-square-feetandserveasthecommercialhubforCenterra,a3,000-acre master-planned community in Loveland. The project is expected to be completed by March 2028 and will feature an organic grocer along with at least128k-square-feet of retail space,72k-square-feet of restaurant area,127k- squarefeetofClassAofficespace,andover1 ,750newresidentialunits.

Center Street is the second development planned for Baseline – a sprawling1 ,100-acre master-planned community in Broomfield. Prism Places and McWhinney are scheduled to break ground on this project in September 2026 with completion anticipated by August 2028. Center Street will encompass approximately3120,squarefeetasitsservesasBaselinesbusinessdistrict.Thecenterwillfeatureoffice space,restandretailareas,andanorganicgrocerstore.
