Construction has commenced on the expansion of McEwen Northside’s ‘Block E,’ a 45-acre mixed-use urban district located in Cool Springs, just south of Nashville. The project is expected to be completed by Spring 2025 and will bring the overall completion of McEwen Northside to approximately 80%.
The $125 million expansion includes a nine-story building with office space, retail shops, and restaurants spanning over 300,000 square feet. A new multi-level parking garage will also be built with over 900 spaces for visitors and employees.
Adjacent to Central Park within McEwen Northside, Block E will serve as one of its anchor tenants. Designed Conveyor Systems (DCS), a supply chain company specializing in material-handling solutions for warehouses, has signed on as one of the major tenants leasing out their corporate headquarters occupying an area totaling at least46 ,000 square feet.
This development is part of Connect CRE’s coverage on Nashville-Area Mixed-Use Project undergoing significant growth with an additional300K SF being added through this latest expansion phase.
