**Apex Motor Club Plans $30M Expansion in Maricopa, AZ**
Apex Motor Club is planning a significant expansion of its existing motorsports facility in Maricopa, Arizona. The proposed $30 million development includes an upgraded clubhouse, 86 private for-sale storage garages, and a new helicopter pad. These enhancements will build upon the facility’s recently completed second racetrack, which is two miles in length.
The expansion plan also features the addition of on-site villas and unique car condominiums—trackside garages that are the only ones of their kind in the United States. The proposal is currently awaiting approval from the town’s planning commission.
Private Motorsports Group, the owner of Apex Motor Club, recently announced a shift in ownership structure. RJT Capital has become the sole owner of the Maricopa facility, supported by a group of high-profile investors. These include Craig Jackson, CEO of the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction; IndyCar driver and NBC Sports commentator Paul Tracy; and two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Arie Luyendyk.
RJT Capital previously financed the facility’s $20 million second track, a two-and-a-half-mile circuit that increased the club’s total track length to four miles. The track boasts 17 turns and offers four different configurations.
This expansion represents a continued investment in high-end motorsports amenities in Pinal County, further positioning Apex Motor Club as a premier destination for racing enthusiasts nationwide.
