### $237M Celina Hospital Set to Open in March

Residents of Celina will no longer have to endure a 45-minute drive to the nearest hospital in Dallas. Methodist Celina Medical Center, the city’s first hospital, is set to open by the end of March, bringing much-needed emergency and critical care services to the community.

The $237 million project spans 46 acres at the corner of Dallas Parkway and FM 428, just three miles from Celina’s downtown square. The medical center itself will encompass 200,000 square feet, alongside a 40,000-square-foot medical office building offering spaces ranging from 2,642 to 7,288 square feet.

Once operational, the hospital will provide 30 medical-surgical beds, eight intensive care unit beds, two procedure rooms, a catheterization lab, and three operating rooms equipped with a state-of-the-art da Vinci surgical robot. Initially, the hospital will feature 51 beds, with the capacity to expand to over 100 in the future. The facility is expected to employ approximately 200 healthcare professionals.

This long-awaited addition to Celina’s healthcare infrastructure will significantly enhance access to medical services for local residents.
