20-Year Timeline for Prosper's Expansive Project: A Look Ahead

The Prosper City Council recently approved a rezoning for an expansive mixed-use project that is expected to take 20 years to build out. The 34.7 acre development, known as Pradera, will include multifamily units, businesses and townhomes along the Dallas North Tollway. A development agreement was also passed during the Aug 22 meeting with BOKA Powell architects presenting plans for the project which include 730 multifamily units and other features such as office space, retail space and a hotel.

The timeline of construction is set out below: August 2023 – zoning awarded; 2024-26 – infrastructure construction both on-site and off-site; 2026–29 – townhome construction; 2027–30 – retail buildings No 1 & 2 construction; 2030–32 – apartment & town square constructions ;2032–35 – hotel constructions ;2035–36 southwest corner retail pad site constructions ;2035–38 condo buildings No 1 & 2 constructions ;203840 office building No 1 constriction ,204242 boulevard retail pad site constriction ,204343 office building no2 constriction .
