**$2 Billion River Central Project Aims for 2025 Groundbreaking**

The $2 billion River Central development near Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport is moving closer to breaking ground, with plans to potentially begin construction next year. The site includes a wetland area, and the developers are currently in the process of securing the necessary federal permits before work can begin.

River Central is a major mixed-use development that will feature a wide range of components, including:

– A 140-room hotel
– 120,000 square feet of office space
– A 56,000-square-foot concert venue
– 60,000 square feet of retail
– 125 townhomes
– 1,200 apartments
– 50 acres of open space

The development spans both Fort Worth and Grand Prairie and has already secured zoning approvals from both municipalities.

Hasen Design Build & Development is the managing partner for the project. Once construction begins, Hasen plans to launch several phases simultaneously, focusing on apartments, higher-density townhomes, and retail components integrated within the mixed-use layout.

The project’s forward momentum represents an important step for the region, promising new housing, entertainment, and commercial opportunities near one of Texas’ major transportation hubs.
