On June 13th, the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) held its 17th Annual Commercial Management Leadership Breakfast at the New York Hilton Midtown. Over 650 attendees, including commercial real estate professionals and labor leaders, gathered to celebrate the vital role of commercial management teams in the real estate industry and their contribution to New York City’s economy. Keynote remarks were delivered by NYC Police Commissioner Keechant L. Sewell while REBNY President James Whelan acknowledged these individuals’ efforts with appreciation.
The event also presented awards such as Edward A. Riguardi Commercial Management Executive of Year Award which was given to Daniel Kindbergh from Brookfield Properties for his work as executive vice president of Operations for their NY region overseeing property management for all office properties in NYC; John M Griffin Community Service Award; and Rising Star of The Year award recognizing outstanding individuals within this field who have made a significant impact on their communities through service or leadership roles within CRE organizations over a short period time .
