"16 Pickleball Courts Coming to Cornelius: A New Addition to the Community"

The Pickleball trend continues to gain momentum, with the Serve Pickleball + Kitchen proposing a $15 million project in Cornelius, just north of Charlotte. DB Entertainment Real Estate Management is seeking rezoning approval for a 6.39-acre parcel next to Magnolia Estates neighborhood that is currently vacant.

The planned facility will span over 51,000 square feet and feature 16 pickleball courts (including six outdoor ones), as well as a pro shop and professional instruction services for camps and lessons. Additionally, the community will have access to an all-day restaurant, café, bar, lounge area and four Top Golf Swing Suites.

This development by The Serve has the potential to create up to 30 jobs initially with plans for future growth up to 70 positions once fully operational. Spectrum Builders has been selected as the general contractor while Praxis3 serves as architect and ESP handles engineering duties.
