"15-Acre Mixed-Use Project by Dickinson: A Comprehensive Development Plan"

The state of Texas is experiencing robust growth, not just in its major metro areas but also throughout the entire state. In Dickinson, a town located in Galveston County, developer Collaborate has plans for a 14.7-acre mixed-use project called Bayou Village. According to reports from the Houston Business Journal, this development will consist of a 20,000-square-foot retail building with multiple tenants and two pad sites; as well as a grocery store spanning 40,000 square feet and an apartment complex with up to 240 units ranging from one to two bedrooms on four stories above ground level.

To accommodate visitors and residents alike, there will be approximately 240 parking spaces for the retail area and at least another 350 for those living in the apartments. Currently evaluating options for this portion of the project are two different companies chosen by Collaborate.

At present time about half of the available space within Bayou Village’s retail building has been leased out already; including securing a tenant for their grocery store location. The remaining lineup includes popular names such as Velvet Taco , Shake Shack , Crack Shack , Kura Revolving Sushi Bar , Wild Fork ,and Via313 Pizzeria .
