"10-Block Houston Redevelopment Plan in Pagewood: A Guide to Working on the Project"

PAGEWOOD and Wile Interests are leading a new mixed-use development that will revitalize a neighborhood of mid-20th century warehouses in Houston’s East Downtown district. This project aims to create a walkable community with restaurants, shops, offices, and green spaces at its core.

The redevelopment will take place over the course of three years in multiple phases. The first phase alone will include 513,000 square feet of mixed-use space featuring retail and restaurant options (196,000 sq ft), office space (112,000 sq ft), and parking for approximately 650 vehicles (205,000 sq ft).

Gensler – an architecture firm renowned for their expertise in design and planning – has been tasked with creating the industrial-inspired look for the East Blocks.

Construction on Phase 1 is expected to begin during Q2 of 2024.
