Related Companies is moving forward with an adaptive reuse project at 1 Lady Bird Lake in Austin, Texas. The 17-story building will feature 293 units, including 86 condos and 207 apartments. Additionally, the first three floors of the structure will house 14,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space. Kohn Pederson Fox has been tapped as the project designer for this development which sits atop a 3.3-acre property that was previously used as a parking lot for Hyatt Regency Austin hotel located at 208 Barton Springs Road. This plan replaces an original 475,000 square foot office tower proposal from Related Companies on this site.
